“ Located in the mountains between Kalamata and Sparti, the houses benefits from a great calm location. The village is very authentic and there is many nice walks to do nearby. The restaurant is also excellent: greek food and wine while offering an awesome view with amazing mountainous sunsets. Special mention to the lovely family running the place. ”

Terrific home cooked local food (we had the chicken with cinnamon- delicious) friendly welcoming host and a view to die for high in the Taygus mountains. Not that easy to find, but make the effort. “ Not much and at the same time everything can be said about this magical place. The accommodation is all you could ever ask from a chalet in rural Greece, the food is fresh,organic and delicious, the views unlike anything you have ever seen, deep in the mountains, between the greenest slopes as far as the eye can see! The service (George especially) is amazing, caring and accommodating. If you ever feel like espaping for a few days, don't hesitate at all! ”
“ I stayed over the weekend in one of the wooden lodges (early February), and it was just a perfect experience. Being February it was reasonably cold outside, but the lodges have wood burning fires (sealed not open) set in the centre of the very spacious open plan living area. So the whole lodge is very quickly cozy and warm with the added flicker of a real fire! It really does add to the whole experience. The water pressure is excellent, with plenty of hot water available for showers etc. which can often be a problem out in the sticks, but not here. The views from the lodge are just endless mountains and countryside. Absolutely amazing views, and a great place to explore from. If you are feeling lazy, one of the great advantages of this place is that at the base of the lodges is a fantastic restaurant, which is typically open all day and serves fantastic fresh local food. You can also just go down for a drink if you like, and relax. The owner and ALL the staff I interacted with were polite, smiley and eager to interact and help. The whole experience was perfect. I very much expect I will return. ”
